Gourmet holidays in Tyrol - experiences for all the senses
Regionality takes centre stage at the 4-star superior Hotel TIROL. Of course, this also applies to our food: We work closely with local farmers and producers to serve you only the best that the region has to offer during your gourmet holiday in Austria. Because we are convinced that the highest quality products come from our immediate surroundings.
The kitchen team at the Gourmet Hotel TIROL conjures up the best Tyrolean specialities with a modern twist and delicious Mediterranean dishes every day using excellent ingredients. Guests at our wellness hotel in Fiss can not only indulge themselves in the SKY spa from morning to night, but also in the kitchen. First with an extensive breakfast, then with various small delicacies in the afternoon and as a highlight in the evening with a 5-course menu of your choice. All this and much more awaits you in our Austrian ¾ gourmet board.

Regional quality. Genuine craftsmanship. Pure Alpine diversity.

Nature-inspired visions
Focus on fields and forests
Our latest passion project is blossoming in the fields of Kreuzgrube – a self-managed garden full of heirloom varieties that we lovingly cultivate together with Demeter farmer Maximilian Buchhammer and the University of Graz, harvesting just before they are needed and storing them in the earth cellar, pickled or fermented for the off-season. In 2025, we will launch another project close to our hearts in cooperation with tree.ly to preserve and actively reforest the local forest.
Nature-conscious. Sensible. Well thought-out.
Our waste concept
For us, sustainability is not just a word, but a way of life – especially when it comes to waste management. By growing our own vegetables and, in future, fruit and berries, we can reduce organic waste right from the start. We consistently separate waste, avoid plastic wherever possible and use durable glass containers instead of disposable packaging. Vegetable scraps and other organic waste are composted directly and serve as valuable fertiliser for our beds and planting areas.
This creates a closed cycle that conserves resources and at the same time makes our products even more sustainable.
Sustainable thinking, living close to nature
Our energy concept
With responsibility for tomorrow in mind, we rely on a well-thought-out energy concept that reflects our connection to the region and to nature. A modern solar system on the roof provides valuable solar energy, while six electric charging stations enable our guests and employees to enjoy environmentally friendly mobility. E-bikes are available for the team – ideal for short distances and daily trips. And with our two club cars, we can reach our fields and nature quietly, comfortably and with low emissions.
