The Four-Star-Superior Hotel TIROL Fiss is all about regionalism, and this also applies to our restaurant. We work closely with local farmers and producers, as we are convinced that the very best produce can be found close to home.
Our kitchen team turns these precious ingredients into delightful Tyrolean classics with a modern touch as well as spectacular, Mediterranean-inspired creations.
Our guests can sample these delicacies throughout the day, starting with a sumptuous breakfast, followed by a small afternoon snacks and finally the 5-course menu of choice in the evening, the highlight of every day. That’s our TIROL gourmet board.

The best things
are close to home
When it comes to food, we don’t accept any compromises. The Hotel TIROL Fiss only serves up the very best. To make sure that all our ingredients and dishes live up to our exacting standards, we buy local wherever possible, i.e. from farmers and producers in our immediate vicinity.
To give you just a few examples:
- Cheese from Lechtal valley
- Potatoes from the Pitztal valley
- Fisser Góggala (eggs)
- Barley from Fiss
- Honey from our own hives
- Freshly hunted venison
- Meat, cold cuts, fresh fruit and vegetables from local, sustainable producers and farms in the region.
And of course, our delicious farmhouse bread, baked by Manuela Pregenzer’s mother! Fresh from the oven every day and simply wonderful! The delicious natural honey from Fließ also comes from her. The farmer in Weerberg provides us with the hearty-smoky bacon, the noodles are made freshly from Fiss eggs and the Swiss pine pillow on which sweet dreams come easy, has its origin in Pitztal Valley as an Alpienne natural product.

For a perfect start...
From 7:30 until 10:30am, we serve a breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. Freshly baked, home-made farmhouse bread, home-made jams, honey from our own production, yogurts, cereals, or a healthy, tasty muesli? The choice is yours! Then there is also fresh fruit, ham and cold cuts and exquisite cheeses. Egg dishes are made to order and complete our breakfast offer.
To keep you going …
A small afternoon snack is essential. Between 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm, we serve up sweet and savoury snacks, home-made cake – or maybe some smoked Tyrolean bacon?
Five delicious courses …
Enjoy a 5-course menu of choice in our restaurant, fresh salads with home-made dressings from the buffet, and a great selection of cheeses. Our weekly highlights include: Italian appetiser buffet, kitchen party, indulgence night, fondue night and our Austrian pastry buffet with a range of strudels.

When it comes to wine, we couldn’t agree more with Ernest Hemingway. Our wine list contains precious vintages from Austrian and Italian growers, from well-established vineyards to newcomers, carefully and skilfully selected by Hubert, Lukas and Michael.
