Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is an Eldorado for cyclists, bikers and downhill racers. In this region in the Tyrolean Alps, mountain bikers of all levels of skills will find what they’re looking for, as will families who like to be out and about on two wheels, thank to the excellent network of family-friendly trails. The trail network comprises many kilometres of trails and cycling paths, at altitudes from 1,200 and 1,600 metres. Slight inclines for families and leisure cyclists, steep climbs for ambitious bikers – but they all meet in the mountain huts where refreshments are served! And if cycling up a steep path isn’t your idea of fun, simply take the cable car to get you where you want to be. Families will find it easy to access the many activities in the region by bike, also because we have very little traffic. So if you are looking for a cycling or biking holiday that ticks all the boxes, look no further!

Give it your all on the way to the top, chill on the way down! Mountain biking is the perfect sport for all those who like a combination of high-intensity training and thrilling downhill runs. And in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, biking couldn’t be more scenic – but you do you have to work for your views! Fast reaction times, a good sense of orientation and balance, rhythm, stamina and strength are all part of the deal. The good news is that the region around Fiss offers trail of all levels of difficulty, including routes for complete beginners and families spending their summer holiday in Tyrol.

Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is also one of 16 “European Leading Bike Parks”. (No wonder, given the breathtaking views and the perfectly groomed trails.)

Biking and hiking

Hiking and biking – the perfect combination for an active day out and about in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. Take a leisurely hike up Schöngampalm at an altitude of 1,878 metres, take a break and sample their excellent “Kasknödel” before hopping on a rental mountain bike (reservation required) to take you back down through the Urgtal valley.

Pure adrenaline

Freeride and
Downhill in Fiss

Adrenaline junkies hurl themselves down the steepest trails and arrive in the valley with a big grin on their face and pumping with endorphins! Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis also has Freeride and Downhill runs for beginners (marked in blue). After a little practice, it is time to brave a red trail. If you are a pro already, head straight for the runs marked in black, where you can show off your courage and skills on jumplines with more than 40 jumps, or on the natural roots, stones and drops of this hair-raisingly steep terrain.

You would like to bring the kids? Perfect! They can get a taste for mountain biking at the Kids’ Park, a practice area next to the valley station of the Waldbahn cable car, with child-size curves and obstacles. The Bikepark guides in the training area teach beginners the tips and tricks required for mastering their first downhill runs safely and with lots of fun. Bikes and protective equipment are available for rent at the shop that belongs to the Bikepark.

With a little help from electricity

E-biking

E-bikes are great for a little extra support on longer or steeper routes. During your summer holiday in Fiss, Tyrol, they provide flexibility and enable bikers with very different fitness levels to go on a tour together. These roadworthy bikes are also suitable for use in the mountains, providing safe enjoyment without you having to go to your physical limits.

We have special models available, with extra-strong batteries and a range of up to 60 kilometres. If you do find yourself running low, there is a dense network of charging stations throughout the entire Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region.
