In addition to water adventures and flying experiences, the family holiday region of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis also offers many family-friendly themed walks and adventure trails. The secret of where Murmli – the Serfaus mascot – lives can be explored on the pushchair-friendly Murmlitrail. The journey starts near the Gampen family chairlift. Various stations such as the story fountain, the talking root man, the sleeping bear or the croaky owl Fiona invite children to discover and participate.
The Wo Bä-Lu Cache in Fiss is a modern form of scavenger hunt for older children. The interactive adventure bear caching park offers an exciting GPS scavenger hunt where young and old alike follow in the footsteps of the original inhabitants of the high plateau – wolf, bear and lynx – in order to finally reveal the secret of the bear’s treasure. Successful geo-cachers are rewarded with a lapel pin from the Fiss tourist information office.
The Schneisenfeger, summer toboggan run in the Adventure Park Hög in Serfaus guarantees fun for young and old and is a must-do on any family holiday in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. The route extends from Alpkopf to Högsee – the entrance is in an old sawmill. From here, you are pulled uphill past interactive stations, where you learn some exciting details about the timber industry. Once at the top, you’ll hurtle through wild turns, 360° gyros, 180° bends and jumps and down at up to 40km/h and up to 8m above the ground.
