Walking tours in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis

Those who prefer a more leisurely approach or want to go on a family walk can explore the gentle forest and meadowland trails for ‘wellness walking’. You can walk, for example, around the Wolfsee lake, take the kids for a stroll along a themed trail or take one of the summer mountain railways up to over 2,000m and along part of one of the mountain trails. There is a great deal for mountaineers to explore too. Many of the peaks around Fiss offer challenging mountain tours.  The sunrise tours are particularly popular where you can start the day at the summit cross and catch the very first rays of sunshine.

Walking tips

  • Fiss Mountain Trail: enjoy the views of Fiss and the beauty of the Alps! The easy mountain trail leads from the Möseralm primarily along flat trails to Fiss.
  • Rotpleiskopf in Fiss: this medium-difficult walk leads from the Schönjochbahn Fiss mountain station up to the Rotpleiskopf. The ascent runs via the Oberer Spinnsee lake and Spinnscharte. Steady footing and a head for heights are essential in mountainous areas. Dreamy panoramic views are guaranteed here!
  • Fiss Energy and Senses Trail: craggy cliffs, delicate flowers, enchanted trees and mystical lakes. There are five energy centres where you can rest and reflect.
  • Six Senses – indulgence experience trail in Serfaus: mysterious phenomena and showcases of nature are just waiting to be solved at 24 stations. A wide and pushchair-friendly trail via the Möseralm in Fiss to Ladis.
  • Water Trail in Ladis: the walk leads past babbling brooks, giant springs, waterfalls and oversized water droplets.

For the exact descriptions and more information about the walks, see https://www.hotel-tirol.net/wanderurlaub-in-tirol/ or https://www.bergfex.at/sommer/fiss/touren/wandern/.

Mountainbiking & freeriding for strong calves

Biking is also great training for the calves.  Whether on flat, enjoyable routes in the valley or steeper ascents up to the Alpine lodges – there is a wide range of cycling tours available.  Whether with or without children, simply hop onto a bike and explore the surrounding mountains.  The Bike & Hike tours are also relaxed. You can initially explore a route by mountain bike and then walk the rest of the trail e.g. up to a summit or mountain hut.  For those who prefer something more action-packed, the Bike Park Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis offers some cool freeriding and downhill sections.  The same colour coding applies to the Bike Park routes as to the ski pistes in winter: blue = easy, red = medium, black = hard. This means that children and beginners alike can try their first jumplines and drops etc. here.

We are happy to provide tour tips for mountain bikers, freeriders and downhill bikers on request.
