Winter holidays at Europe's most family-friendly ski region in Tyrol

In Fiss-Ladis-Serfaus at 1,400 to 2,000m above sea level, a total area of around 45,000sqm is reserved exclusively for children. In Serfaus the winter paradise is known as the Kinderschneealm and is located immediately below the Komperdellbahn cable car middle station. In Fiss Bertas Kinderland is adjacent to the middle station of the Sonnenbahn cable car. 250 trained ski instructors teach children skiing and snowboarding in their native language with lots of fun and games. The method used to teach the ‘Ski & Snowboarding Eleven’ is called ‘gentle birth’. The special feature is that if a child does not like being taught, he or she is allowed to play or watch the clowns. The children’s own ambition ensures that they will quickly catch up on what they have missed and still achieve their learning goal in a very short time.

And if things get too cold or strenuous in the snowy white landscape, there are cosy little houses nearby where trained childcare staff ensure plenty of fun, games and encouragement.
